Leadership isn’t about others—it’s about YOU.

Leadership isn’t about…

“Hiring women comes with risks, but I’m willing to make the sacrifice”.

Yup. I actually heard those words with my own ears. (Btw, nothing brought this topic on. I was an overworker, always at work, never taking time out of work, taking on too much etc). INSANE, right?

You may have heard of my story by now; two different bosses at different times of my life, one a narcissistic horror, and the other a supportive and nurturing boss.

But guess which one of those made the above statement? The latter, the supportive one(!)

HR and employee management is a difficult task. It’s nothing to do with others and their personalities but EVERYTHING to do with YOU. Yourself. Your sense of leadership. “Good” managers can slip and tarnish the very relationship they seemingly value causing huge disruption to the business.

I figured I have two options after the above two experiences;

1. Spend my days talking about how crap managers can be
2. Utilise my experience in HR and decide to educate managers to turn them into leaders

So, I embarked upon a journey learning about human behaviour, psychology, HR, studying tribunal cases, conducting studies on leadership struggles, connotating relevant workplace studies, crunching numbers and so much more to become a voice on leadership and HR to help managers of all types (the “good” and the “bad”) tap into their potential of being a leader.

Like I said, it’s little about OTHERS. It’s more about YOU.

Have you ever considered the core capabilities of a good leader? If you’re wondering, then you will thank yourself for taking our FREE 2 min yes/no test. You’ll get a comprehensive report at the end, something of huge value- keep it, reflect on it regularly. Thank me later. https://lnkd.in/eguiG_pU
