I manage executive exits where the legal, reputational, and personal stakes are high for C-suite, directors and senior executives. I take a select number of cases at any one time. I offer a same day settlement agreement service wihch means providing the required legal advice to employees and a legal advisers certificate to complete settlement agreements in accordance with s203 Employment Rights Act 1996 and on termination of employment. 

 

A solicitor will provide independent legal advice. A solicitor ensures that employees fully understand their employment rights, potential claims and whether the offer is fair. 

Solicitors can tailor settlement agreements to cover tax implications, confidentiality clauses, non derogatory clauses and post termination restrictove covenants ensuring lon gterm protection. 

Reputation management is possible so that sensitive details are handled properly especially for senior employees and directors in service agreements. 

A solicitor can ensure that the agreement is balanced in favour of the employee and covers and clean break arrangement. 

Having a solicitor can level the playing field if the employer has in house legal teams or external solicitors.

Interests and Hobbies

As a family we play and follow rugby union and league games, current affairs and global politics. Every Saturday is spent following Winchester RFC We all work on our farm Bourne Valley PYO.  We enjoy village life our dogs and music. And there might be a few horses in there too.
